POSTAGE, PACKAGING AND VAT

Despatch Times

Most orders which have cleared payment before 3pm are despatched the same day on a next day delivery service. Orders under 1.5kg are usually sent by Royal Mail, however there is no Royal Mail collection on Wednesdays. Next day delivery is NOT guaranteed and orders over 2kg may take longer. If your order is urgent, please call us on 01905 756061.

Payments by either Paypal or our own Secure Checkout clear immediately, however Google Checkout can take up to 6 hours to clear.

Products which are excluded from same day despatch are orders containing shopping bags and plastic bags, which can take up to 7 days.

Standard Postage and Packaging

P&P is calculated at the checkout based on the weight of your order. There is a £2 minimum charge to cover the cost of processing small orders and then the cost increases marginally with the weight. Typically, orders over 2kg cost more to send than we charge as we wish to keep P&P charges low. The exact amount is automatically calculated at the checkout based on the weight and size of the parcel.

UK Next Day Delivery Option

Please call us on 01905 756061 to check availability of next day delivery and pay using our secure checkout. Orders paid by Google Checkout take longer to process, therefore please do not use Google Checkout if your order is urgent. There may be an additional charge for next day delivery. If you require guaranteed next day, please state that it must be guaranteed, otherwise we will use a non guaranteed service such as Royal Mail First Class. The cost of guaranteed next day is considerably more.

Europe and USA Delivery Option

We also deliver to Europe and USA, which is calculated at the checkout based on the weight of your order. Light items, such as Sock Sorters, Little Feet and Net bags are surprisingly economical to send by airmail and are delivered in 7-10 days. Heavier items, such as plastic bags attract higher postage charges and are not economical to export. We do not charge taxes for delivery outside the EU, however local taxes will be payable on delivery (although rarely collected for small orders).

VAT

All prices are plus VAT at 15% for EU orders. Online ordering is provided by Applied Business Techniques Ltd. registered in England and Wales 5465630 using an automated system, which adds VAT at the checkout under VAT registration number 859-9965-29. The VAT invoice will be sent with the goods.
